Life is for Living!

No matter what your personal beliefs or views might be, if you are reading this, you are alive.  Whether you come from a great family, a horrible family or something in between, you are here now and you are alive.  What you do with your life is now up to you.  Isn't that an amazing gift?  You have been given the option to choose.

The Bible puts it this way:  Deuteronomy 30:19
Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live!

My prayer for you today is that you would remember - Life is for living!  Oh, don't get me wrong.  I have been sick for three days now.  For me, life is no picnic.  For others in my family, life is very difficult.  However, no matter the situation, we have a choice in how we respond.  Life can suck like a hoover vacuum and I can still choose my response.  The people around me can be mean, cruel, kind and loving and I still get to choose my response.  And I have decided that I choose life.  I do not choose hate, revenge, nor grudges nor do I choose to remember and recount all of the bad things that have happened.  I choose to forgive and forget so that I might live each day as it comes.

What a gift!
